It has been proposed by medical researchers that a renaissance in medicine would consist of the 4 P’s:

It would be PERSONALIZED-most current treatments are based on clinical studies on other people.  They may or may not work on you.  The underlying question about any treatment is “Is this right for me?” The ideal treatment would always be “right” for you.

It would be PREDICTIVE- This means that a treatment strategy would not only identify a current health issue but would also act  as a preventative for future more serious issues.

It would be PREEMPTIVE- this follows logically from the above

It would be PARTICIPATORY- This means with the patient’s co-operation in the areas of lifestyle, most notably diet and exercise, there would desired wellness outcomes.

Medical researchers hope this healthcare delivery system will be available in 2030.

NIS delivers this NOW. NIS is:

• PERSONALIZED- This is nothing more personal than the individual’s brain-cell signalling
• PREDICTIVE-  NIS investigates disrupted brain/cell signally in functional feed-back loops within the patient’s nervous system.
